Effective for the 2026-2027 school year. This posting is for substitute opportunities including Teacher, Instructional Assistant, Nurse, and Nutrition roles.
About the role
We are seeking substitutes to fill temporary positions across various roles within the school district. Substitutes will step in as needed to ensure continuity of services and support for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties of the regular employee in their absence, following established lesson plans or work procedures.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment for students.
- Adhere to school policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student progress, concerns, or incidents.
- Provide instruction, support, or services as required by the assigned role (e.g., teaching, assisting in classrooms, nursing care, or nutrition services).
- Complete any required documentation or reporting related to the substitute assignment.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to varying school environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work on short notice and in different locations as needed.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications for the specific role (e.g., teaching license, nursing license, food handler’s certification, etc.).
