Substitutes

About the role

WRSD is looking for substitutes who have some availability during school hours to help cover for staff absences.

Primary Duties

• Substitute in the classroom or at work study sites.
• Carry out lesson plans designed by the teacher.
• Assist in sharing responsibility in the gathering of materials for activities, bus, recess and lunch monitoring.
• Adhere to school and state policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Adequate sign language skills.
• Comfortable utilizing a total communication approach.
• High school diploma.

Pay & Schedule

• $20.00 hourly
• As-needed; part time
• Per diem hourly position
