About the role

Assists the School Nutrition Supervisor in the efficient operation of the cafeteria.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves nutritious and attractive meals for students and staff in a pleasant environment.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• An additional (1) one year of quantity food preparation or related experience
• Tests negative on TB (tuberculosis) skin test
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report
• Ability to drive a Shelby County Schools cargo van
