Substitute Instructional Assistant

Job Description

The Substitute Instructional Assistant position at CROOK COUNTY SD is responsible for providing temporary coverage for regular instructional staff in classrooms. This includes preparing lessons, facilitating learning activities, and maintaining classroom discipline.

• Prepare lessons and materials based on student needs and curriculum requirements.
• Facilitate learning activities and discussions to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other school staff as needed.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid Idaho teaching certificate or a substitute teaching license, and possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to education.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $18.54 - $20.25 per hour.
