- Must have and maintain a current license in one of the following: Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Registered Nurse, Practical Nurse, Law Enforcement Officer, or Correctional Officer.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

- Applicants with college degrees and/or seeking a college degree in the field of education are preferred.
