Substitute - Educational Assistant

About the role

This position provides assistance to teachers in working with students, performs general clerical tasks, monitors students in various settings, and assists with classroom assignments.

Responsibilities

• Administer minor first aid for immediate health care needs.
• Perform general clerical tasks to assist teachers with instructional material.
• Maintain instructional materials and files.
• Monitor individual and/or groups of students in various settings.
• Absorb and reinforce learning concepts for students.
• Mediate student conflicts to ensure a safe educational environment.
• Report observations and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist students with lesson assignments.

Requirements

• First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association
• High School or Equivalent Education
