Substitute Custodian - As Needed

About the role

The Custodian at EVIT East Valley Institute of Technology supports a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks across the campus. This is an as-needed position, typically working Monday to Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual duties to support cleaning and custodial tasks on and around EVIT’s campus.
• Support the functions of the department by being assigned to work in various campus buildings.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of work experience in a related field.
• Any combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints (IVP) fingerprint card.
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

$22.44 / Hour

Schedule

Typical hours are 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.
