Substitute Cleaner - District-Wide - Per Diem (**New Hourly Rate**)

About the role

Immediate per diem substitute cleaner assignments available district-wide in the Eastchester School District. Positions begin immediately and are ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Building and classroom cleaning
• Grounds work
• Light maintenance work
• Painting and related tasks

Requirements

• Working knowledge of building/structure cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to use building cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
• Willingness to perform manual tasks
• Thoroughness, dependability, and honesty
• Physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position
• NYSED Fingerprint Clearance (SAVE Law requirement)

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Per diem, substitute assignments
• 12-month positions
• Hours vary, AM and PM shifts
• Monday through Saturday

Fingerprint clearance is required under NYSED SAVE Law (Education Law 305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c, and 3035).
