About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Drive the mission by daily program meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead by example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documentation of attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Works well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required.

Skills

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.

Pay

$19-21/hr (based on education and experience).

M-Th 6:30-9:10am & 3:40-6:30pm
Fri 6:30-9:10 & 2:10-6:30pm
