Substitute Cafeteria Worker

Representative Duties

• Clean serving counters, tables, chairs, food containers, and other equipment.
• Operate a dishwasher and wash trays, plates, utensils, and other serving equipment.
• Set up hot carts for food service.
• Serve food to students and adults.
• Store kitchen equipment.
• Aid in the preparation of food as required such as preparing sandwiches, salads, heating food items, and other preparation activities.
• Prepare area for cashiering as assigned.
• Aid in preparing paperwork required in serving kitchen.
• Set up and serve food.

Requirements / Qualifications

• California Food Handlers Card is required. Please submit the certificate with your substitute packet.

• This is a substitute position, you will be contacted on an as needed basis through the Frontline Substitute Management System.
