Beaumont Unified School District serves the communities of Beaumont, Cherry Valley, and portions of Calimesa and Banning, supporting more than 12,000 students across seven elementary schools (TK–5), one TK–8 school, two middle schools, one comprehensive high school (9–12), one middle college high school, one alternative school, a large home education program, and an adult education program.

Requirements

• California Commercial Driver License (Class A or B)
• Passenger (P) endorsement
• School Bus (S) endorsement
• DL-51 – DMV Medical Report (Medical Examiner’s Certificate)
• DL-45 – CHP Special (School Bus) Driver Certificate

Acceptable restrictions:

• 1: automatic transmission only
• 6: first aid waiver (if restricted, a separate First Aid Certificate is required)

First Aid Certificate is required only if DL-45 carries restriction 6.
