Substitute Bus Aide

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to lift and assist driver in loading and unloading handicapped students.
• At least 18 years old.
• Willingness to complete a pre-service training program.
• Ability to cope with stressful situations.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to be flexible relative to job duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to pass a substance screening test at random.
• Complete fingerprint testing through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as other pre-employment screenings at your own expense.

Conduct

• Remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance and abuse of any prescribed controlled substance in the workplace.
• Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.
• Help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
