Substation Project Manager
Responsibilities
Conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new, upgraded and expanded substations, including material procurement, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization.
Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring and reporting of substation projects and proposals.
Oversight and execution of ECI's quality control procedures.
Interacting with and coordinating with ECI's subject matter expert discipline groups.
Providing technical mentorship and training of project team design staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, 10+ years' project engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience
- 2+ years of substation project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Commitment to quality and accuracy
- A PE license in at least one US state is required and PMP certification is preferred
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of power engineering principals
- Expertise regarding applicable codes, standards and design tools
- Ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines in completion of substation projects

Pay
Salary commensurate with experience and education.
Schedule
Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
