About the Role

Seeking a Substation Physical Designer to provide technical design and CADD support for projects involving power delivery substations. The role involves generating accurate design deliverables such as plans, profiles, models, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from sites and technical documents.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues.
• Prepare multiple design versions for review.
• Verify calculations and interpret plans.
• Support all project phases while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in drafting and design support.
• Knowledge of drafting principles, codes, regulations, and technical computations.
• Proficiency with 3D CADD software, technical writing, and office tools.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within teams, demonstrating attention to detail and ethical conduct.
