Substation Engineer

About the role

This role is for a Substation Engineer who will lead and support high-voltage substation design projects (up to 765kV), including physical layouts and protection & controls systems for major power infrastructure projects such as renewables, HVDC, and battery storage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support high-voltage substation design projects (up to 765kV)
• Physical layouts and protection & controls systems for major power infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in physical and/or protection & controls (P&C) design
• Able to lead projects and perform QA/QC reviews
• Client coordination and technical leadership skills

Requirements

• 5+ years of HV substation design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• PE license preferred
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office
