About the role
We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, complete assessments, screenings, and treatment planning. Responsibilities include case management, coordinating community support services, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and community partners. The role involves supporting clients in recovery, stability, and personal goals, with opportunities for clinical supervision, training, and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling
- Complete assessments, screenings, and treatment planning
- Perform case management and coordinate community support services
- Maintain clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
- Support clients in recovery, stability, and personal goals
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
- Associate’s degree in human services or related field (bachelor’s preferred)
- Knowledge of addiction, recovery, and case management
- Experience with justice-involved populations is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
