About the role

The Counselor provides high-quality behavioral health services to inpatient and outpatient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conducting evaluations
• Offering counseling
• Developing treatment plans
• Coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams
• Acting as patient and family advocates
• Supporting post-treatment planning
• Facilitating court‑ordered programs
• Maintaining open communication with referral sources
• Documenting all activities per department guidelines
• Engaging in professional development, community education, and patient teaching using age‑appropriate and culturally sensitive approaches
• Maintaining safety standards
• Participating in conferences
• Supporting self‑help programs

Requirements

• Relevant certifications such as CSADC, CRADC, LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC, or CADC
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields
