Substance Use Disorder Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, develop personalized treatment plans, and support clients throughout their recovery in a residential treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and referrals
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Coordinate care with community providers
• Facilitate recovery-focused groups
• Serve as a positive role model and promote client engagement
• Local travel may be necessary to fulfill program needs

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Human Services or related field
• Valid SAC-IT credential
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in substance use treatment (preferred)
• Knowledge of addiction counseling and case management principles (preferred)
