About the role
The Substance Use Disorder Counselor facilitates individual and group counseling sessions, completes necessary clinical documentation, and collaborates with organizations and service providers while assisting in the day-to-day aspects of the Turning Point Residential Program.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
- Complete necessary clinical documentation
- Collaborate with organizations and service providers
- Assist in the day-to-day aspects of the Turning Point Residential Program
Requirements
- MLADC required or LICSW/LCMHC
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
- Experience in the mental health field a plus
- Ability to collaborate with other agencies
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Use technology provided to complete essential functions of the job
