About the role
Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Provide case management and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate clients and families about substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Crisis Intervention as needed.
- Collaborate in treatment teams meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid LCDC license in the state of Ohio.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years prefered of experience in substance use counseling or related field.
Skills
- Strong communication skills,
- Ability to work within a team,
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
