*Substance Use Counselor

Location: Rockwood, TN | Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 | Schedule: Monday – Thursday

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–4 one‑hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence‑based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Support a positive, recovery‑oriented environment for members.
• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the mental/behavioral health discipline.
• Active or currently under supervision to obtain one of the following credentials: MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC‑MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC.
• Experience leading group therapy.
• High comfort level with technology: EMR, telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
• Preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication‑assisted treatment (MAT), or related fields.
