Requirements
- The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or other human service related field
- LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor), CAC (Certified Addiction Counselor), PLPC (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor), LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) or Counselor In Training (CIT)
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Appropriate state and federal clearances
Responsibilities
- Provide evidenced based services to members diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders
- Offer individual substance abuse therapy and facilitate substance use disorder groups
- Create and review individual crisis plans as needed
- Develop and maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
- Licensed addiction counselor (LAC), certified addiction counselor (CAC), provisional licensed professional counselor (PLPC), licensed master of social work (LMSW), or counselor in training (CIT)
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of recovery principles and recovery-driven service systems
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- State and federal clearances
