Substance Abuse Group Facilitator -CSAC

About the role

This role involves facilitating substance abuse group sessions at a CSAC facility. The primary goal is to support clients in their recovery process through structured group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals recovering from substance abuse.
• Develop and implement therapeutic plans tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Document session notes and progress reports as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in substance abuse treatment or related field.
• Valid California Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of addiction theories and treatment modalities.
• Experience working with diverse populations and backgrounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
