About the role
This role involves facilitating substance abuse group sessions at a CSAC facility. The primary goal is to support clients in their recovery process through structured group therapy sessions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals recovering from substance abuse.
- Develop and implement therapeutic plans tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Document session notes and progress reports as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in substance abuse treatment or related field.
- Valid California Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of addiction theories and treatment modalities.
- Experience working with diverse populations and backgrounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
