About the role

Responsibilities
- Engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling
- Work collaboratively with a treatment team including Medical Director, Program Director, Treatment Services Coordinator, Counselors, and Nurses
- Identify and meet the clinical needs of patients and assist in their overall well-being
- Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork
- Document patient progress through counseling and interactions with groups
- Create and implement individual and group treatment plans
- Provide educational guidance on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps
- Conduct urine drug screens and obtain patient photo identification
- Act in the best interests of the program and company while protecting proprietary data
Qualifications
- Masters degree in a related field with a relevant license
- Experience in substance abuse field preferred, but not required
