About the role

Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling
  • Work collaboratively with a treatment team including Medical Director, Program Director, Treatment Services Coordinator, Counselors, and Nurses
  • Identify and meet the clinical needs of patients and assist in their overall well-being
  • Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork
  • Document patient progress through counseling and interactions with groups
  • Create and implement individual and group treatment plans
  • Provide educational guidance on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps
  • Conduct urine drug screens and obtain patient photo identification
  • Act in the best interests of the program and company while protecting proprietary data

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a related field with a relevant license
  • Experience in substance abuse field preferred, but not required
