Substance Abuse Counselor - Full Time Days

Responsibilities

• Completes Intakes, group therapy, didactic, case mgmt, and individual therapy.
• Works with treatment team to resolve underlying issues, improve client lives and resources, and develop an aftercare plan.
• Provides assigned patient counseling services and case management.
• Systematically and continually assesses the patient's coping mechanisms and progress.
• Utilizes appropriate teaching methods and/or referral sources.
• Collaborates with other healthcare members to coordinate patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree, CAADC and experience with addiction/recovery preferred.
• Bachelor's and MCBAP required.

Pay

Pay range: 23.84-35.76/hr (dependent on educational level & years of experience)
