About the role
Applegate Recovery is an addiction treatment program that provides medically-supervised services for adults in various modalities and settings. As the largest specialty organization addressing the opioid crisis, we deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patient need, best practices and state regulations;
- Cookbook service coordination with doctors, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team;
- Evaluate patient progress and develop an individualized plan of care;
- Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints;
- Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
Requirements
- Must be an LISW, LPCC, LPC, AADC, or ADC;
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Addictions Registered Professional Counselor (AADC), or Addiction Counselor (ADC).
Skills
- Utilize evidence-based practices;
- Practice a trauma-informed approach;
- Develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills;
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team;
- Conduct initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility for services;
- Complete bio-psychosocial assessment;
- Establish individualized treatment plan with each patient and review as clinically indicated;
- Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
