About the role
This position is responsible for development of client treatment plans in conjunction with the client and treatment team. Provides group, individual counseling and other supportive services which are appropriate to the participant’s recovery process. Facilitates various education and awareness workshops on topics appropriate to recovery. Makes appropriate referrals as necessary to contribute to client’s recovery in accordance to Agency policy. Places professional documentation in participant records in a timely manner. Assists clients in recovery and exit planning as well as providing telephone or other follow-up services for clients leaving the program.
Responsibilities
- Develops client treatment plans in collaboration with the client and treatment team.
- Provides group and individual counseling and other supportive services.
- Facilitates educational and awareness workshops related to recovery.
- Makes appropriate referrals to support client recovery.
- Documents client progress and maintains accurate records.
- Assists clients in their recovery and exit planning.
- Provides follow-up services for clients who leave the program.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written).
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree: Associate’s Degree in general studies plus six (6) years of direct service experience in a mental health field.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in a mental health-related discipline plus four (4) years of direct service experience in a mental health field.
- Master's Degree: Master’s Degree in a mental health-related discipline plus two (2) years of direct service experience in a mental health field.
- Preferred Experience & Certifications:
- Experience in the chemical dependency field.
- Certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor (CADC).
- Certificate program from a recognized WASC university (12+ credits).
Qualifications

Pay
$23.76 - $24.50 USD Per Hour
Schedule
Sat: 10:30 AM - 9 PM, Sun-Tues: 8 AM - 6:30 PM
