Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions
- Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork
- Develop and document psychosocial and treatment plans
- Perform at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly
- Educate patients on treatment and recovery steps
- Obtain urine drug screens and patient identification
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address clinical needs
- Ensure confidentiality and protect proprietary data
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant education and licensure as per state requirements
- Experience in substance abuse preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
