Substance Abuse Counselor

This role is dedicated to providing support and counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to helping others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and interactions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Valid license to practice as a counselor in the state
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in substance abuse counseling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
