Substance Abuse Counselor

About the role

This role is dedicated to providing support and treatment services to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and help them achieve long-term recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Valid state license as a counselor or social worker
• Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
