Subsidiary Regional Manager

About the role

Evaluate market opportunities, trends, and successes in other regions. Apply best management practices within the region where appropriate. Provide strategic direction and oversight of regional marketing personnel. Seek project leads and marketing opportunities across assigned offices and region. Work closely with local office staff and business development managers to track opportunities. Participate in trade association conferences and seek out project opportunities, including regional-based as well as national contract agreements. Participate in regional market segmentation groups to provide leadership in their efforts. Take the lead and coordinate regional business opportunities. Evaluate the scope of work and assign the appropriate personnel to complete the tasks. Coordinate resources to execute work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain at least monthly contact with the office and department managers and staff to discuss the importance of marketing at the local level.
  • Monitor and track regional office finances (including profit/loss, accounts receivable), marketing strategies (proposal generation, rates), office productivity, resources, standardization, and training.
  • Monitor and review the current and projected workload to ensure that the current staff level is appropriate, including the number of staff, experience level, and technical knowledge.
  • Respond and assist local offices with finding resources to support projects.
  • Promote teamwork and the company-wide resources available.
  • Submit proposals and SOQ’s by each deadline.

Requirements

  • BSCE or MSCE degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred.
  • PE or PG licensure obtainable within six (6) months of hire.
  • 10+ years of related experience; 5+ years in a supervisory role.
