Subrogation Lead

Location: Virtual – full-time remote work with required in-person training sessions.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Oversee complex Workers’ Compensation, Third-Party Liability, and other subrogation recovery cases.
• Provide ongoing training to lower-level associates.
• Conduct audits of work.
• Develop procedures and provide input to policies.
• Review legal precedents, research, and apply or interpret appropriate laws.
• Collaborate with the Legal Department.
• Prepare communications.
• Assist manager with special projects.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience handling Workers’ Compensation and/or Third-Party Liability cases; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, Third-Party Liability (TPL), subrogation, and recovery processes.
• Previous experience providing team leadership, coaching, training, or quality/audit oversight.

Schedule

Hybrid Workforce Strategy: Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, with specific onsite expectations discussed during the hiring process.
