Submittal Engineer - Must have AutoCAD experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD shop drawings and submittal packages within a fast-paced environment.
• Review construction drawings and specifications with Estimators and Project Managers.
• Perform analytical problem-solving for construction issues and detailing conflicts.
• Coordinate, communicate, and implement construction revisions.
• Communicate with the Technical Services Department of vendor partners.
• Assist in the professional development and training of co-workers.
• Prepare construction submittals for building envelope systems, particularly roofing and architectural metal panel/cladding systems.
• Manage multiple responsibilities and tasks while understanding building construction documents and division of trades.
• Perform all other related duties.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience with AutoCAD/drafting.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Technical knowledge of or familiarity with architectural construction detailing and manufacturer fabrication drawings.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
