Subject Matter Experts in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology

About the role

Unity Environmental University at Pineland seeks qualified Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop two new undergraduate courses—Human Anatomy and Human Physiology—for its in-person science curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and inclusive learning materials for Human Anatomy and Human Physiology courses.
• Collaborate with the academic dean and a learning experience designer to ensure the courses meet educational standards and are transferrable.
• Utilize generative AI tools to enrich course development and enhance student learning.

Requirements

• An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Health Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching or applying human anatomy and/or physiology.
• Familiarity with developing and/or teaching science content in hybrid online and in-person settings; experience mentoring distance learners preferred.
• Ability to write clear and student-friendly instructional content.
• Willingness to embrace the use of generative AI tools to support course development and enhance learning.
• Skilled in operating standard computer software and digital tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Canvas LMS platforms).
• Strong organizational skills and reliable time-management habits.
• Communicates clearly, respectfully, and professionally in collaborative settings.
