Subcontracts Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversight of procurement and contractual agreements
- Leading and mentoring a team of purchasing and subcontract professionals
- Negotiation and management of various contract types
- Reviewing and monitoring contract compliance and vendor performance
- Facilitating pre-proposal meetings and leading Source Selection Committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline
- Minimum of 6 years of directly related experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
- In-depth understanding of procurement processes within a government environment
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and related compliance regulations
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for analyzing complex procurement challenges
