We are seeking a Subcontract/Procurement Analyst to join a leading global aerospace company. This role manages the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for mechanical hardware, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and supporting program cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
About the role
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely) remote position based in the US. The schedule is 40 hours per week on a 4-day, 10-hour shift rotation. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on mechanical components.
- Select or recommend subcontractors.
- Prepare bid packages and analyze/evaluate proposals.
- Perform price analysis, negotiations, and purchase order (PO) documentation and placement.
- Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
- Handle invoice reconciliation and payment.
- Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
- Work with program teams and other business areas on supplier and procurement management.
- Develop solutions to complex problems requiring innovation and follow-through.
- Manage commodities with a high volume of purchase requisitions.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
- Actively participate in and support the implementation of OneLM culture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of subcontract procurement/buying experience.
- SAP experience.
- FAR/DFARS purchasing experience, particularly with mechanical components (electrical components experience is a plus).
- Ability to manage high-volume commodities requiring research and sourcing challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Government purchasing experience is heavily preferred.
