Subcontract Management Senior (Buyer)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Built-to-Print Supply Chain, Procurement, Buyer and/or Subcontract Management
• Ability to work efficiently in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving and communication skills

Job Description

• Supports long term and short-term competitive procurements pertaining to simple to complex build-to-print metallic Airframe parts.
• Entails supplier source selection, contract administration and purchase order placement in support of any of the following programs: F-35, C-130, F-16 and F-22.
• Duties Include:
• Documentation and interface with functional organizations.
• Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' briefings, analyzes, and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects, or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts.
• Procurement of build to print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings in support of various aircraft programs (C-130, F-35, F-16 and F-22).
• Helps develop solutions for complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
• Understands the procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Some travel may be required.
