This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which comprises Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance, including Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Relocation assistance is provided. Travel is expected up to 15% of the time. Interviews will include a technical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program requirements are appropriately prioritized and executed to meet Blue Origin’s needs.
• Be competent in Blue Origin Supply Chain compliance standards, strategies, and initiatives.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal/Request for Quote, perform cost analysis in support of proposals, develop negotiation strategies, and lead formal negotiations.
• Construct various contracting types for major procurement activities, including long‑range procurement agreements, sourcing partnerships, continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies.
• Take ownership of the procurement process from requisition creation through final payment of invoices and resolve issues within this process.
• Lead the identification, implementation, negotiation, execution, and management of strategic agreements (e.g., Long‑Term Agreements) where mutually beneficial.
• Support the procurement organization’s strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are met, including on‑time, on‑budget delivery of production materials that meet technical performance requirements.
