Subcontract Administrator III
Epitec is seeking to support a private American space technology company in identifying an experienced Subcontract Administrator to support subcontract management operations involving large aerospace components, cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, major fabricated assemblies, long-term agreements (LTAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and milestone-based Statements of Work (SOWs). The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement and contract administration expertise, experience negotiating complex supplier agreements, and the ability to manage high-value subcontract relationships in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Administer the full lifecycle of complex indirect subcontracts from solicitation through closeout.
- Manage high-value subcontracts involving large aerospace components and assemblies.
- Develop, issue, and evaluate RFPs.
- Conduct proposal evaluations and cost/price analyses.
- Ensure subcontract terms align with company policies and prime contract flow-down requirements.
- Support procurement and subcontract administration activities for:
- Cryogenic tanks
- Pressure vessels
- Large fabricated structures
- Major aerospace hardware assemblies
- Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to define technical requirements.
- Develop long-lead procurement strategies for critical components.
- Negotiate and administer:
- Long-Term Agreements (LTAs)
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Develop pricing structures and performance frameworks.
- Manage amendments, renewals, and modifications.
- Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
- Mitigate contractual risk and protect company interests.
- Coordinate with Contracts and Legal teams on complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Develop milestone-based Statements of Work.
- Establish deliverables, performance milestones, and payment schedules.
- Monitor milestone achievement and payment authorization.
- Manage subcontractor performance against contractual deliverables.
- Develop strategic supplier relationships.
- Resolve schedule, scope, performance, and cost issues.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews.
- Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Maintain complete subcontract documentation.
- Support audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Level II: 3+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.
- Level III: 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.
- Experience administering complex subcontracts.
- Experience negotiating subcontract terms and conditions.
- Experience managing long-term supplier agreements.
- Experience with milestone-based Statements of Work.
- Experience administering performance-based payment structures.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience using ERP/procurement systems such as:
- SAP
- Oracle
- Coupa
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
