About The Role

The Subcontracts Administrator I is responsible for managing the lifecycle of subcontracts from initial solicitation through contract close-out. This role includes developing subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, negotiating contract terms, and managing supplier relationships.

  • Developing subcontract agreements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Maintaining subcontract files, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Providing support for the resolution of subcontractor issues and disputes.
  • Assisting in the close-out process of subcontracts, ensuring all terms and conditions have been met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
  • Typically entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft suite of products.
  • Basic understanding of subcontracting principles and processes.
  • Familiarity with standard subcontracting terminology and documentation.
  • Awareness of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Basic project management and administrative skills.
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in subcontract administration or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with contract management software or systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced subcontracting strategies and best practices.
