Job Purpose
Responsible for the production of a wireless, handheld Reader unit for Pulmonary artery (PA) pressure monitoring. The Technician will be responsible for the assembly and testing of the Reader and Docking Station.
Duties and responsibilities
- Follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs) and perform quality inspection procedures (QIPs) and document results.
- Assemble and heat stake printed circuit boards (PCBs) into top and bottom housing assemblies.
- Make custom cable assemblies and assemble them into dock assemblies.
- Build antenna assemblies with PCBs and ferrite sheets.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintain a clean and controlled working environment and participate in 5S activities.
- Aid in writing manufacturing documentation as needed.
- Support R&D team as needed.
- Provide support for other manufacturing product lines as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related experience
- Experience in the Medical Device field highly desired
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Android/iOS use
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to complete technical documentation with high level of accuracy
- Ability to complete tasks and work with minimal supervision after training
- Ability to communicate well both orally and in written form
- Ability to lift and handle 25-pound boxes
