Stump Grinding & Stump Removal Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Remove tree stumps, surface roots, and related debris.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of stump grinders, trailers, trucks, and equipment.
• Identify underground hazards such as irrigation lines, utilities, landscape lighting, and drainage systems before beginning work.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding work scope and site conditions.
• Auxiliary tasks including assisting with tree removal, cleanup, and other field operations when needed.
• Accurately document completed work and report equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating stump grinders, skid steers, excavators, or similar equipment preferred.
• Experience in the tree care, landscaping, excavation, or construction industries is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate trucks and trailers.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to identify potential job site hazards and work safely around utilities and irrigation systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
