Study Hall Supervisor

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 hours certified college credit
• 21 years of age
• Capable of supervising large groups of students
• Capable of maintaining orderly records of student attendance
• Willing to assist students with academic needs
• Must possess basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal and Associate Principal to promote student discipline, student attendance, and appropriate student interaction as described in the student discipline handbook
• Maintain appropriate records of attendance and report any incidents of misbehavior in a written referral
• Converse with students on appropriate classroom and school behavior in accordance with district policy
• Be willing to assist students academically
• Administer and oversee the completion of student assignments
• Maintain consistent communication with all staff to assist in orderly attendance taking procedures
• Work closely with administration on developing more effective ways to facilitate lunch detentions and in-school suspension program
• Supervise the study hall area whenever students are scheduled in the area
• Always be present for the entire time students are using the study hall area
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal/director designee

Pay
