Studio Security Guard Open House (Swing, Graveyard, and Weekends)

About the role

Warner Bros. Discovery seeks Studio Security Guards for the Security department. This is an on‑call, uniformed, unarmed officer who may be assigned to stage areas, office buildings, and other Warner Bros. Discovery on‑ and off‑lot facilities and events. Expected start date: Monday, September 15. Paid training: September 15‑19, 7 AM‑4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Protect and serve all employees and visitors and safeguard Company property.
• May be assigned to studio gates, office buildings, or on and off lot events, parties, premieres, screenings, Content Protection, Executive Protection and Audience shows on the Main Lot, at the Ranch, other Warner Bros. off‑lot facilities or an off‑lot location.
• Issue visitor passes at studio gates and buildings; conduct vehicle and personal item searches; perform metal detection; direct and assist visitors; monitor and direct on‑lot pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Patrol and monitor Company premises to ensure that only authorized individuals enter Company premises; maintain a log of security activities; observe and report unusual and suspect activities; prepare written incident reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Security Officer experience in a corporate/office environment.
• Guard Card required.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a record of safe driving and at least 6 months of driving history.
• Available to work a flexible schedule (minimum 3 days a week, with one day being Saturday or Sunday).
• Must join the Studio Security and Fire Association union and adhere to union requirements and fees.
• May be required to drive occasionally throughout the main lot in Burbank and between facilities using a variety of company‑owned vehicles (golf‑carts, large SUV, van, pick‑up truck and, in some cases, motorcycle) based on assignment; travel may involve surface streets and highways.
• Position requires physical exertion such as riding a bike, walking/standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting/maneuvering items weighing up to 50+ lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office experience required.

Pay

Pay Rate: $20.25 per hour.

Schedule

On‑call position with swing, graveyard and weekend shifts; flexible schedule requiring a minimum of three days per week, including at least one Saturday or Sunday.
