About the Role
BODYROK offers high-intensity, low-impact Pilates workouts that tone, sculpt, and redefine your body and mind in just 45 minutes. We are a rapidly growing company looking for like-minded fitness enthusiasts committed to our mission of helping people become the best version of themselves. As a Studio Advisor, you’ll provide customer service support to studio members and guests, generate revenue through membership enrollment and package purchases, and contribute to a positive studio environment.
This is an hourly position with a base rate plus unlimited commission potential—your earning potential is limited only by your drive and willingness to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the BODYROK Service Promise and maintain a clean, friendly, and well-maintained studio.
- Assist members and guests in person and via email, ensuring proper check-in procedures are followed.
- Keep the studio orderly by maintaining bathrooms, changing rooms, towels/laundry, and trash.
- Initiate tasks and perform duties independently without micromanagement.
- Monitor incoming emails and ensure compliance with check-in procedures.
- Generate revenue through internal promotions, referrals, and inquiries.
- Promote specials to current and potential members and reach out via email for sales opportunities.
- Reconcile and report all incoming and outgoing transactions while meeting personal sales targets.
- Conduct studio tours for potential members, connecting them to facilities, equipment, and services.
- Handle member service issues, including billing inquiries, address changes, and payment setups.
- Maintain supply and maintenance logs, promote and sell merchandise, and keep the front desk area clean.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including hourly bathroom and studio checks.
- Follow up with enrolled members to ensure expectations are exceeded.
- Provide the highest level of customer service in all interactions.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of MindBody software experience preferred.
- Competitive drive to succeed in commission sales and performance-based culture.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written).
- Knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
- Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, warm, and welcoming personality with ease in interacting with new people.
- Must be available to work at least 2 weekend days per month (e.g., 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday, 2 Saturdays, or 2 Sundays).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally sits, walks, kneels, and reaches with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels in the studio.
- Must be comfortable interacting with people and making them feel welcome.
