Duties Brief Description
- Chopping vegetables
- Washing/portioning food
- Assisting with event setups
- Maintaining high sanitation standards
Requirements
- MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
- MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT FOR THE SUMMER AND/OR FALL 2026 SEMESTER
- MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS
- UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food prep equipment
- Must be available Monday thru Friday for 20+ hour work week
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen
- Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying temperatures, and lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff
- Frequent walking, kneeling, lifting, and carrying
Qualifications
- Knife skills
- Physical stamina
- 1+ years of kitchen experience
