About the role
As a Student Worker - Functional, you will clean and maintain assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
- Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
- Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
- Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
- Secure the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
- Ensure security of company assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet commitments; job duties may change without formal notice.
Requirements
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00.
