About the role

This position assists the Campus Dietitian in outreach and day-to-day health and wellness operations.

Responsibilities

• Event execution and educational outreach
• Auditing dining locations for compliance with National Menu Labeling laws, food safety, and allergen safety protocol
• Processing data to measure compliance to health and wellness key performance indicators
• Data entry for recipe analysis
• Setting up information tables located throughout campus
• Developing nutrition education infographics, brochures, and social media posts
• Assisting the Registered Dietitian with daily tasks

Requirements

• Sophomore classification or higher
• Nutrition/Dietetics major preferred
• Effective communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in written form
• Ability to communicate in an appropriate manner in varying situations
• Ability to work 8/15 hours per week
• Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
