Student Worker - Food Service or Catering - UMass Lowell - Fox Hall

Join our passionate teams and dedicated leaders as a Student Food Services / Catering Worker. You'll play a key role in food preparation, safety, and customer service while developing valuable social skills. Prior experience isn't required—we're looking for students ready to grow with Aramark.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Properly stores food in accordance with safety standards
• Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs
• Replenishes food items and maintains appropriate stock levels
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive interactions with guests, clients, and coworkers
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must have or acquire food safety certification
• Demonstrates guest service skills

This role may include physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing, as well as wearing uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00.
