Student Ultrasound Tech / Ultrasound / PRN / Varied

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of procedures.
• Aid Radiologists and Staff Physicians with tests.
• Demonstrate skills needed for designated modality.
• Demonstrate good patient care.
• Utilize appropriate scanning skills required for the modality.
• Report to modality Supervisor.
• Provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors and employees.
• Report any risks to patient safety and activate the chain of command when necessary.
• Comply with appropriate and approved standards relating to: patients, infection control, and environmental issues.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Enrolled in an educational program aligned with the Student Tech position.
• Must attain Certification within 6 months of graduating educational program.
